2014 comes to an end

“Every gardener knows that under the cloak of winter lies a miracle …
a seed waiting to sprout, a bulb opening to the light, a bud straining
to unfurl. And the anticipation nurtures our dream.”

Although we are now officially closed for Winter, we are as busy as
always: repairing, tidying, labelling, repotting, ordering and above all
keeping our fingers crossed that the weather is kind to us!

We already have a lovely selection of new perennials for next season.
These will be overwintered either in the tunnels or out on the nursery.
Spring bulbs are nicely tucked up in pots ready to sprout.
We’re trying out a whole new range of perennials from seed – some of
which we have never come across before!
Mick has selected a wonderful range of vegetables to grow for next Spring.

I will be updating the list of perennials and vegetable plants that we
will be growing early in the new year.

For now, we – Mick, Dani & Ian – wish you a restful Winter! See you in
the Spring.
